President Donald Trump confirmed Tuesday that he was whisked away from Air Force One in a catering truck at the Secret Service's direction last month as he departed the NATO summit in Turkey. He downplayed the risk to those he left on the original plane while he flew on a separate one. The New York Times reports that credible threats against the president included someone spotted near the NATO summit with a shoulder-fired surface-to-air missile and that the Iranians even knew the floor of the hotel where Trump was staying.
