JPSC protest leader Devendra Nath Mahto has issued a strong warning amid the ongoing student movement in Jharkhand, alleging that attempts are being made to divert and weaken the protest. Speaking about the government’s response, Mahto said an inquiry committee has been formed and that the government is positively listening to some of the protesters’ demands. However, he stressed that “full justice is still pending.” Mahto also claimed that some people are trying to dismantle the movement nearly a month after it began. In a pointed statement, he said that “when the time comes, I will make all the revelations.” He urged students to remain united and not allow the movement to be diverted.
