Some people disappear without leaving the world. They simply become harder to see. Somewhere between a Japanese word, a disturbing social reality, and the question of why someone would choose to vanish, this journey moves beyond disappearance itself. It asks us to look at the spaces between people, and at what happens when those spaces become easier to enter than to leave. A TED-Ed speaker, silver medalist in the Tata Building India Essay Writing Competition, trained tabla player. She represented her school at the SPIC MACAY 11th International Convention at IIT Kharagpur, contributed to a national championship-winning team in the Itihaas Competition, and explored sustainability through The Earth Prize. Blending creativity, culture, and curiosity, Arpita is passionate about using ideas and dialogue to inspire thoughtful action and meaningful change.
