Broken engine debris was responsible for breaking a window on a Ryanair jet which caused a passenger to be partly sucked out in mid air - according to a preliminary report. The National Transport Safety Board said an engine blade broke off shortly after the plane took off, damaging the window and the fuselage. Serbian businessman Ljubisa Karović was saved from being completely sucked out when passengers hung onto him and pulled him back inside.
