I spent years believing I just wasn’t “good at decorating.” I thought some people were born with a natural talent or eye for design...and I simply wasn’t one of them. Looking back, I realize I wasn’t lacking creativity. I was lacking instruction. No one should expect to try something new and do it perfectly the first time, right? So why do we expect ourselves to know how to decorate an entire home without anyone ever teaching us how? I think so many homeowners have convinced themselves they’re “bad at decorating” when the truth is much simpler. **Not knowing how to do something isn’t the same as not being able to do it.** That’s one of the biggest reasons I started teaching homeowners how to decorate instead of just decorating homes for them. Because once you understand the process behind beautiful rooms, decorating stops feeling like guesswork. It becomes a skill…and skills can be learned. ❤️ If you’ve ever caught yourself thinking, “I’m just not good at decorating,” I hope this
