Keanu Akbar taught himself barbering on YouTube after a bad haircut sparked his interest. He started by practising on his brother and giving friends free haircuts before turning it into a business. As demand grew, the 15-year-old was squeezing in up to 30 haircuts a week while juggling school. When the workload began affecting his sleep and concentration, he raised his prices and capped bookings at 20 a week. Today, he runs a busy business from home. Keanu uses his earnings to buy better tools and equipment, and says he saves up to 70% of what he makes. This Money Mind episode looks at how Keanu built a business while still in school and what it has taught him about managing his time and money. ======================== For more of Money Mind: https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLkMf14VQEvTZgHFM-uTxXiJ1Fll4SwL4y ========================== #CNAInsider #MoneyMindCNA #SideHustle #GenAlpha #SmallBusiness For more, SUBSCRIBE to CNA INSIDER! https://cna.asia/insideryoutubesub Follow CNA
