James Gunn's DCU returns to the small screen with Lanterns on HBO and HBO Max. Starring Kyle Chandler as Hal Jordan and Aaron Pierre as John Stewart, the series premiere kicks off in a decidedly less cosmic corner of the Green Lantern mythos. After the reaction to Supergirl and a few cancelled tv shows, there's a lot riding on the success of Lanterns, but is a dusty small town murder mystery investigated by space cops the answer to get the DCU back on track?
