Nigel Farage has reclaimed his Clacton seat with 22,239 votes and more than 63 per cent of the vote, while Count Binface finished second. Alex Phillips asks polling expert Professor Sir John Curtice whether the victory demonstrates wider national support for Reform UK. Curtice scores Farage’s result eight or nine out of 10, citing his increased vote total and a turnout of around 44 per cent. He says Farage would probably win another Clacton contest, but warns that Reform’s national polling has declined and that the Conservatives are beginning to close the gap. #news #politics #nigelfarage #reform Have you got a story?
