In my talk, I share how one small decision changed the way I saw myself. I used to be afraid of speaking on stage and always hoped I wouldn’t be chosen for performances or speaking roles. Then one day, my teacher gave me an important role in our class concert. I was scared and wanted to say no, but I decided to give it a try. That experience taught me that courage comes before confidence. I didn’t become confident first and then perform; I became confident because I chose to perform despite being afraid. I believe everyone has their own “stage.” It may not be a real stage—it could be answering a question in class, trying a new sport, making a new friend, or taking on any challenge that feels scary. My message is that we should not let fear make our decisions. Sometimes, one small brave step is all it takes to discover what we are truly capable of and to turn our own lives in a new direction. Siya is a 9-year-old student who believes that every challenge is an opportunity to grow. Cur
