Luigi Mangione pleaded guilty Friday to federal stalking charges, telling the court he posed as an investor to obtain information about UnitedHealthcare's 2024 conference, which CEO Brian Thompson was scheduled to attend. "I shot Mr. Thompson in Manhattan and he died," Mangione said during his allocution to the court. "I knew what I was doing was illegal."
