The High Mobility Artillery Rocket System is a launcher mounted on the back of a military truck that can be rapidly brought out of concealment, fire its rockets, then move quickly to a new location to avoid counter-battery fire. They operate in the Oleksandrivka sector, where the front line runs through the junction of the Zaporizhzhia, Donetsk and Dnipropetrovsk regions, which remains an active section of the about 1,200 kilometers (750 miles) front.
