One Nation asked the Senate to support establishing an inquiry into our Protecting Australians from Foreign Terrorist Fighters Bill and we secured it. The bill will now go to the Legal and Constitutional Affairs Legislation Committee, with a report due on 7 September. This is about one simple principle: Australians come first. Their safety, their security and their right to live free from the threat of foreign terrorist fighters must come before Labor’s excuses, political games and weak leadership. If the law is stopping the government from keeping terrorists out, then change the law. One Nation is trying to put every possible barrier in place to protect Australians and keep dangerous extremists out of our country.
