Wildfires rip through the West Midlands as 19 homes completely destroyed: Watch ITV Evening News

Nineteen houses have been fully destroyed and another 18 have been damaged by the wildfire in Stourbridge, West Midlands Fire and Rescue Service have said. Other wildfires across the West Midlands have left a number of people needing medical treatment. Six firefighters in Staffordshire have been taken to hospital suffering from smoke inhalation and heat exhaustion after battling the wildfires. West Midlands Ambulance Service said they attended 22 fire incidents across the region yesterday.
