Opposition leaders Kalonzo Musyoka, Rigathi Gachagua and Dr. Fred Matiang’i have criticised President William Ruto for what they describe as dragging retired President Uhuru Kenyatta into his current political battles. The opposition leaders say President Ruto should stop looking around for people to blame and focus on his performance in office, which they say has alienated Kenyans and fuelled opposition. The leaders say they will face the President directly and have told the Kenya Kwanza leader to focus on them rather than the former President.
