Australians have taken to rooftop solar and battery storage more than anywhere else in the world, with the appetite boosted by substantial government rebates.  But the cash incentives have also attracted operators accused of shoddy installations. Consumers claim they are thousands of dollars out of pocket with systems that don't work.
