ODM leaders from the Coast region have unanimously thrown their weight behind President William Ruto’s bid for re-election in 2027, signalling a major political shift as coalition negotiations gather momentum. Addressing supporters in Mombasa and Kwale Counties, the leaders, led by Mining Cabinet Secretary Ali Hassan Joho, said the Coast region is firmly positioning itself in the emerging political realignment.
