Fifteen-year-old Rudiansyah has become a real-life superhero in Indonesia’s Central Kalimantan, joining his father and local volunteers to battle forest fires threatening his home. The Class 10 student returns from school and heads straight to the fire lines, sometimes wearing a Superman costume as he sprays water on the flames. Rudiansyah says he would rather help fight the fires than stay home on his phone. His father says the teenager understands the firefighting operations and knows what to do.
