You can drop off injured wild birds at this ‘emergency room’

The Warsaw Zoo in Poland opened the “Bird Asylum,” which they describe as “the equivalent of a human emergency room,” for wild birds. Locals can bring injured birds to the drop-off center, which then alerts veterinarians to collect and treat the birds. Zoo director and ornithologist Andrzej Kruszewicz argues that because humans have impacted the birds' environment, it is up to us to care for them.
