In this video, Firstpost explains that a SpiceJet flight from Amritsar to Dubai faced a delay of nearly 17 to 18 hours, affecting around 300 passengers. The flight, scheduled to depart at 8:40 am, was first pushed to 11 am and later rescheduled to around 2:30 am the following day. Passengers, including families with children and elderly travellers, reportedly spent hours waiting at the airport and raised concerns over accommodation, alternative travel arrangements and communication. Videos showing frustrated passengers at the airline’s enquiry counters have gone viral. Airport authorities said the disruption was linked to the late arrival of the incoming Dubai flight. The incident follows other reported SpiceJet disruptions in recent weeks. Daniela Laurel brings you the details on Firstpost America.
