Starting afresh doesn't always work. Sometimes you have to merge your past experiences with the present instead of deleting them. Our previous experiences, struggles and identities can contain things worth keeping. Instead of choosing between who we were and who we're becoming, we can merge the best of both to create something stronger. I am Mahalakshmi Nandish, a second-year AI & DS student at KGiSL Institute of Technology, Coimbatore. I am deeply passionate about technology and logical problem-solving to build impactful digital solutions. Driven by curiosity, I love exploring emerging innovations to shape my future through tech. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at https://www.ted.com/tedx
