Flash flooding in Arizona's Grand Canyon forced the evacuation of dozens of hikers and caused major damage to critical infrastructure. About 50 hikers were airlifted from the Bright Angel Creek area, while at least two people were confirmed dead and more than a dozen others remained missing or unaccounted for following the broader flooding. Park officials said roughly 40% of the 12.5-mile Transcanyon Waterline was damaged or destroyed, prompting water conservation measures and restrictions on overnight visitor accommodations as further flooding remained possible. #grandcanyon #grandcanyonflood #flashflood #arizona #flooding #flooddisaster #hikers #hikerescue #rescueoperation #naturaldisaster #usa #americanews #breakingnews #extremeweather #weathernews #timesnowworld Stay connected with Times Now World for real-time global news and analysis: 🌐 Read full coverage: https://www.timesnownews.com/world 📱 Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/timesnow.world 🐦 Follow us on X: https://x.co
