Gyirong mourns victims of deadly mudslide

A memorial for the victims of the August 26 mudslide was held in Gyirong County, southwest China's Xizang Autonomous Region, at 9:55 a.m. on Tuesday. Rescue personnel, local officials and representatives of the residents observed a moment of silence at ceremonies held simultaneously in the core disaster zone and at road restoration sites.
