The places where we grow aren't always classrooms or universities. A gaming community where I least expected to learn skills, is a place that I learnt a lot of lessons from. I’m Varun KJ, a third-year Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning student who loves exploring technology, building new ideas, and trying things outside the usual path. I’m also a gamer, and gaming has helped me build my confidence, communication, and problem-solving skills in ways I never expected. Alongside academics, I’m involved in Toastmasters, startups, and creative projects. I’m always curious about learning new things, meeting people, and turning my experiences into something meaningful. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at https://www.ted.com/tedx
