Six partially built townhouses in Hamilton Hill have been demolished after builder Inspired Homes went into voluntary administration in April last year, leaving the Development WA project unfinished for over 12 months. The failed project has cost taxpayers $1.1 million, with an additional $150,000 for demolition and $4 million to rebuild, while none of the homes are designated for social or affordable housing. A new builder is expected to complete the townhouses by late next year.
