Former NATO and Royal Navy commander Rear Admiral Chris Parry issues a stark warning over Britain’s defence readiness, saying the UK is failing to deter potential enemies and could be making them “bolder”. Dr Parry also weighs in on the treatment of SAS veterans over the Northern Ireland conflict, warning that a “vindictive, spiteful campaign” against Special Forces could damage recruitment. He also challenges Defence Secretary John Healey’s promise to prove he is “no hypocrite on defence”. #defence #armedforces #defencespending Have you got a story?
