Anaya Bangar has spent years trying to find a way back into the sport she loves. She took a big and bold step, undergoing a gender change and now, Cricket Australia has opened the doors for her. However, ICC rules still prevent her from playing international women's cricket. Speaking exclusively to Rupha Ramani, Bangar discusses her transition, the backlash and isolation she faced. Bangar stressed upon her struggle to find support from Indian cricket, the dramatic physical changes she has experienced and why she believes every transgender athlete deserves to be assessed on their individual circumstances rather than assumptions. --- Anaya Bangar | Australia | Cricket | Isolation | Loneliness | First Sports | Rupha Ramani | Firstpost | Sports News #anayabangar #australia #cricket #isolation #loneliness #firstsports #rupharamani #sportsnews #firstpost Firstpost is an Indian news and media website.
