As a new school year approaches, one classroom staple has people in Newfoundland and Labrador demanding answers. A glossy version of Hilroy Canada’s exercise books features a map of Canada, but it's missing Newfoundland and Cape Breton. CBC News spoke with locals who say the omission is 'bananas.' UPDATE (Sept. 1, 2026): Hilroy Canada replied to CBC News after this video was posted.
