Bank of America VP killed in unprovoked Times Square dual-blade rampage #breakingnews #newyork #bankofamerica #timesquare #criminal Thirty-two-year-old Erin Piacenti, a Bank of America vice president and Fordham Law graduate, was fatally stabbed in a random, unprovoked attack near New York’s Times Square on Monday, August 31, 2026. According to police, 49-year-old Pamela Cisneros pulled two large kitchen knives from a bag near West 41st Street, wounding a 68-year-old man before moving up Seventh Avenue to fatally strike Piacenti. Responding NYPD officers spent four minutes attempting to de-escalate the situation as Cisneros brandished the blades and threatened to kill them. After a Taser failed to stop her, Cisneros charged officers and was fatally shot. Family members revealed Cisneros suffered from severe, documented mental health issues and likely stopped her required bipolar treatment prior to the rampage.
