Donald Trump has been blocked from using RAF bases to strike Iran by Sir Keir Starmer. Nick Ferrari questions whether this was the right decision from the PM and what this could mean for future relationships. To discuss the topic, Nick is joined by Sir Mark Lyall Grant, former senior British diplomat who has previously served as the UK's National Security Adviser, and  Dr Alonso Gurmendi Dunkelberg, LSE Fellow in Human Rights. The UK Government has refused to give the White House the green light to use the Diego Garcia base or RAF Fairford in Gloucestershire for a potential military campaign against Iran, according to the Times. In response, Trump attacked the agreement to hand sovereignty of the Chagos Islands to Mauritius and lease back the Diego Garcia joint UK-US military base in the archipelago as "a big mistake" on Wednesday.
