In the second episode of this three-part series, we step inside Star Athletics, a Florida-based training group built around a simple idea: iron sharpens iron. What began when coach Dennis Mitchell started coaching his wife grew into a club with a strong sense of community, faith and belonging. Today, Star Athletics is home to a world-class group of sprinters and hurdlers who train side by side, pushing each other to improve through every high and low of the athletics season. Featuring Melissa Jefferson-Wooden, Kenny Bednarek, Twanisha Terry, Tonea Marshall and more, alongside coach Dennis Mitchell, Assistant Coach Chareif Lewis and Damu Cherru-Mitchell, VP and Co-Founder of Star Athletics, we follow the group through training ahead of the Prefontaine Classic and at the Diamond League meeting itself, before turning their attention to a new challenge: the inaugural World Athletics Ultimate Championship. Don't miss the inaugural Ultimate Championship this September 11 - 13 in Budapest
