Former Scotland Yard detective Mike Neville praises Metropolitan Police officers after 47 people were reportedly arrested during a protest in Parliament Square. Activists attempted to block roads around Parliament, with some gluing themselves to the carriageway as specialist officers worked to remove them. One protester claimed that children had “no future” because of climate change and insisted activists did not want to cause disruption. Mike dismisses the claim as “nonsense” and argues that road blockades can prevent members of the public from reaching work, family commitments and hospital appointments. Have you got a story?
