EU foreign policy chief Kaja Kallas said on Wednesday that European countries had not moved quickly enough to address gaps in conventional military capabilities as the security threat from Russia rises, warning that Moscow is testing Europe’s resolve through increasingly kinetic attacks. Kallas said a new high-level group would seek practical ways to close capability gaps as quickly as possible, with Ukraine included because of its battlefield experience. She also said there had been no concrete commitments on supplying additional Patriot interceptors to Ukraine, although discussions would continue. Kallas said Europe must be prepared to act on its warnings against Russia, adding that failing to do so would weaken the credibility of its deterrence. #kalllas #kajaKallas #russia #ukraine #ukrainewar #russiaukrainewar #eu #europe #nato #patriotmissiles #airdefence #russiaeurope #europeandefence #geopolitics #breakingnews #worldnews #militarynews #ukrainecrisis #russiamilitary #eusecurity
