Sir Keir Starmer has served a group of Chagos Islanders who landed by boat on the territory on Tuesday with an eviction notice, threatening them with a three-year prison term if they don’t leave. The returning Chagossians, including Misley Mandarin, the elected first minister, are protesting against the government handing the islands back to Mauritius. Camilla and Tim spoke with Vanessa Calou, a Chagos campaigner and sister of Mr Mandarin, who said that Starmer has “given away our island without consulting the British people” and called the Prime Minister “disgusting” and a “traitor” who must resign. ► Subscribe to The Telegraph: https://www.telegraph.co.uk/customer/subscription/store/?WT.mc_id=tmgoff_youtube_dailytpodcast ► Get the latest headlines: https://www.telegraph.co.uk/?WT.mc_id=tmgoff_youtube_dailytpodcast ► Sign up to The Telegraph's free new daily newsletter, From the Editor, bringing you the latest news, features and analysis from the Telegraph newsroom: https://www.t
