The House Committee on Appropriations on Wednesday terminated its deliberations on the proposed 2027 budget of the Office of the Vice President (OVP), with Undersecretary Zuleika Lopez leading the OVP team in the hearing. Lopez and other OVP officials represented Vice President Sara Duterte at the budget deliberations. Before interpellations began, BH Party-List Rep. Robert Nazal moved to extend to the OVP the same “courtesy” that the committee had extended to the Office of the President, effectively terminating the committee-level budget deliberations. ACT Teachers Party-List Rep.
