Actor, former Scrapheap Challenge presenter and EV expert Robert Llewellyn joined the programme to discuss new research showing 55% of 17 to 20-year-olds now want their first car to be electric, drawn by lower running costs and home charging convenience. Llewellyn said he was surprised by how high the figure was, describing meeting a young learner driver from Weston-super-Mare whose first car was electric simply because both her parents already drove electric vehicles, suggesting a generational shift is under way as EVs become normalised within families. Speaking with Scrapheap Challenge presenter and EV expert Robert Llewellyn, Talk's Ian Collins says: "At some point everybody will be electric. You have to wonder what the move is likely to be among politicians at that point!" #electriccars #vehicles #iancollins #talk Have you got a story?
