In a surprise visit to Gaza on Wednesday, Netanyahu said Israel is not backing away from the Yellow Line, insisting they will remain until Hamas disarms. “We control the territory. We are not retreating. We are staying on this line. We control 60% of the Strip, and this may not be the end of it because we are eliminating the terrorists who threaten us," Netanyahu asserted. Israeli special forces neutralized a threat this week, confirming a daring daylight raid that captured Hamas' internal security chief near his home and bringing him back to Israel for interrogation. “We will probably learn a few things," the prime minister remarked, "but we are doing everything to reach our goal, and it is disarming Hamas and demilitarizing Gaza. Gaza will no longer pose a threat to Israel. This goal has, in fact, been largely achieved, and there is still work to be completed and we will complete it." CBN News.
