For the first time in modern history, a senior British royal has been arrested. On Thursday morning, police detained the former prince, Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, on suspicion of misconduct in public office. King Charles stripped his brother of his royal titles last year over his association with late sex offender, Jeffrey Epstein, and has issued a statement saying "the law must take its course", offering the Royal Family's "full and wholehearted support and co-operation" to those carrying out the investigation. Our UK Correspondent Rob Watson tells us about the unprecedented developments, how damaging they are for the Royal Family, and what could happen next for Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor. Andrew has previously denied wrongdoing in relation to Epstein; he has not responded to the BBC’s requests for comment on any of the specific allegations in relation to the release of millions of Epstein files in January. New episodes of the Global News Podcast are published twice a day. Yo
