Rolling Stone's exclusive digital cover story features four of the stars from @OliviaRodrigo's Daisy Chain Fields festival: @sarahmclachlan, Chappell Roan, Doechii, and Rodrigo herself. #sarahmclachlan, who founded the all-women festival Lilith Fair in 1997, joined #oliviarodrigo in a conversation on video, which also features Rolling Stone co-editor-in-chief Shirley Halperin and senior writer Angie Martoccio. Filmed in Los Angeles a few days before Daisy Chain, the interview discusses starting those two historic festivals, sexism in the industry, what they love about each other's music, and the power an all-women festival can have. Rodrigo on Lilith Fair’s impact: “Something that's definitely not lost on me is how much times have changed … And I think that's in large part to the way that you broke down barriers, Sarah, and people of your generation, who really fought to be taken seriously and fought to have the same microphone and the same stage. I'm just endlessly grateful for that.
