A UN report has found the actions of the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) paramilitary, in the Sudanese city of El Fasher, bear the ‘hallmarks of genocide’. [Subscribe to our Substack newsletter: https://channel4news.substack.com/subscribe] Thousands were killed and raped over the course of three days in October, after an 18-month siege by the RSF. They targeted non-Arab communities particularly the Four and Zaghawa groups. The Foreign Secretary Yvette Cooper said the findings were ‘horrific’ and called for a ceasefire in the war between the RSF and Sudan's Armed Forces. A warning, this report contains very distressing details. ------- Get more news at our site - https://www.channel4.com/news/ Subscribe to our Substack newsletter: https://channel4news.substack.com/subscribe Follow us: TikTok - https://www.tiktok.com/@c4news Instagram - https://www.instagram.com/channel4news/ Twitter - https://twitter.com/Channel4News Facebook - https://www.facebook.com/Channel4News/
