A suspected politically motivated arson attack has targeted BATS, a Belgian defense company linked to Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI), in Liège, Belgium. Belgian Defense Minister Theo Francken described the incident as a terrorist attack, while the perpetrators claimed responsibility in a statement posted on an activist website. The group said it targeted BATS over its ties to Israel's defense industry and cited the war in Gaza as its motivation. Authorities have not identified the attackers or confirmed any affiliation with a specific organization. The incident comes amid growing security concerns for Europe's defense sector as military production ramps up across the continent. #belgium #israel #iai #israelaerospaceindustries #gaza #liège #defenseindustry #terrorattack #arson #militarynews #europe #belgiandefense Times Of India (TOI) Is The Largest Selling English Daily In The World.
