ISRO has successfully launched EOS-05, an advanced Earth observation satellite, aboard the GSLV-F17 from Sriharikota. The 2,367-kg satellite was placed into its intended Sub-Geosynchronous Transfer Orbit around 18 minutes after liftoff. Once operational, EOS-05 will provide Earth imagery for applications including agriculture, environmental monitoring and disaster management, besides strategic uses. The mission also marks an important milestone for the GSLV, which has now successfully carried its heaviest payload yet. The launch comes after a difficult period for ISRO, following the failures of the PSLV-C61 and PSLV-C62 missions. Watch this video for the key details of the EOS-05 mission and why its successful launch matters for India’s space programme. #ISRO #EOS05 #GSLVF17 #Space #India Thank you for watching our video!
