Silent Hill: Townfall just dropped a brand-new showcase ahead of its September 24th release, giving us another creepy look at Simon’s journey to the fictional Scottish island of Saint Ailia, several new story details, a deeper introduction to the game’s cast, and what appears to be our first look at a terrifying new creature. While the presentation spent most of its runtime highlighting the actors bringing Townfall’s characters to life, including Jovan Adepo as Simon, Terry O’Quinn as Richard, and Kezia Burrows as Zoe, we did get a handful of extremely disturbing new shots showing Simon covered in blood and medical equipment, a bizarre creature unlike anything we’ve really seen from the game so far, and a first-person sequence where Simon’s face becomes heavily distorted as the creature appears around him. The footage definitely seems to be teasing some kind of connection between Simon and whatever this thing is, although exactly what that connection means is still completely unclear.
