Reform UK has denied media accreditation to a number of journalists ahead of its party conference, including veteran broadcaster Michael Cric, independent journalist Peter Gagan, and several reporters who had worked for The Guardian. Any party opening the door to barring journalists on the basis of perceived unfairness risks setting a dangerous precedent, since almost any coverage could be characterised as unfair by the party being scrutinised. Speaking with Trade Unionist Paul Embery, Talk's Tom Slater says: "The free press and their right to report on people in power!" #nigelfarage #reformuk #tomslater #talk Have you got a story?
