While AI can achieve high‑level performance and avoid mistakes, errors are essential for high‑school students’ learning and self‑discovery. Instead of letting AI become an excuse to skip struggles and trial‑and‑error, students should treat AI as a learning partner and preserve space for human imperfection and personal growth. Shao Xu is a twelfth grade student. His topic was Embracing Mistakes in the AI Era. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at https://www.ted.com/tedx
