Iran has warned that it will destroy civilian infrastructure including water supplies across the Middle East, if President Trump attacks its civilian power plants. President Trump has given Iran 48 hours to open the Strait of Hormuz - the vital sea lane that carries much of the world's oil and gas. If it doesn't, he has threatened to "obliterate" its power supplies. The new exchange of threats to target civilian infrastructure relied on by millions of civilians across the Middle East marks a new escalation in the war. Israel is also saying it will escalate its military campaign in Lebanon, saying it expects "several more weeks" of fighting there, against Hezbollah militia who are allies of Iran. Jane Hill presents BBC News at Ten reporting by Joe Inwood, Lucy Williamson, Joe Pike and Faisal Islam.
