Learn how to talk about your hobbies and interests in this ASL lesson for high school learners! In this lesson, students watch a post-club fair conversation where the actors compare their interests and discuss which Deaf school clubs they want to join. Students will practice hobby-related vocabulary, WH-questions, and ASL conversation flow using sentences such as "I LIKE DRAW," "SAME," "DIFFERENT," and "YOU JOIN WHAT?" The lesson also introduces cultural expectations in Deaf spaces, including visual communication strategies, eye contact, and group signing norms. This lesson is part of MiaPrep’s American Sign Language 1 course.
