A fresh controversy has erupted after Iran accused Israel of trying to draw young Americans into a potential ground war against the Islamic Republic. Iran's Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmaeil Baghaei reacted to an opinion article published in The Jerusalem Post, which proposed using a federally administered debt-forgiveness program to encourage U.S. military enlistment if Washington ever wages a ground war against Iran. The article suggested writing off student loans, credit-card debt, and other liabilities after military deployment. Baghaei condemned the proposal, urging Americans not to let their children become "cannon fodder" for what he described as a "war of choice." While the proposal is an opinion piece and not official U.S. policy, it has sparked intense debate over military recruitment, student debt, and the possibility of a wider conflict with Iran. #iran #usa #trump #israel #jerusalempost #studentdebt #usmilitary #middleeast #iranus #groundwar #iranisrael Times Of Indi
