The United States has approved a potential $5 billion arms sale to Saudi Arabia amid the ongoing Iran war and rising security tensions in West Asia. The proposed package includes more than 10,000 precision-guidance kits, thousands of bombs, target detectors, spare parts and support equipment. The US State Department says the deal will strengthen Saudi Arabia’s air defences, improve its ability to counter regional threats and enhance interoperability with US and other Gulf forces. Firstpost brings you the details of the deal that followed Iranian attacks on US bases in Saudi Arabia and Houthi attacks on Saudi shipping in the Red Sea. --- US | saudi arabia | donald trump | US amrs deal | US defence package | iran war | iran war | houstis | Firstpost #iranuswar #iranwar #saudiarabia #usa #donaldtrump #us #usdefence #usweapons #iranstrikes #houthis #firstpost Firstpost is an Indian news and media website.
