Giorgia Meloni makes Italian political history on September 4, overtaking Silvio Berlusconi to become the country’s prime minister with the longest continuous term in Italy’s postwar era. Meloni marks the milestone with a rally in the port city of Bari after nearly four years of political stability. The record comes as Meloni faces a potentially tougher phase of her premiership, with elections possible as early as spring 2027. A sluggish economy, stalled reforms and Italy’s demographic decline could test her government as she looks to extend her political run. --- Giorgia Meloni | Meloni Italy PM | Giorgia Meloni Record | Meloni Berlusconi | Silvio Berlusconi | Italy Prime Minister | Italy Politics | Meloni Makes History | Italy Postwar History | Meloni Government | Italy 2027 Election | Italy Economy | Firstpost #giorgiameloni #meloni #italy #italianpolitics #silvioberlusconi #italypolitics #italypm #italyelection #meloni #bari #europe #italy2027 #firstpost Firstpost is an India
