There has been major disruption at the Port of Dover, the UK's biggest international ferry port. Masked protesters who were blocking access were chanting "stop the boats". Ferry operators said they are aware of the "traffic disruption" and would accommodate passengers on the next departure once they arrive. The UK government said: "The right to peaceful protest is fundamental to our democracy, but we condemn the behaviour in Dover and the travel disruption it has caused."
